We so appreciate the shows across the state that have taken time to get to know our program. We take pride in the development, education and the nurturing of our members and we love that these shows have also recognized the value of YLPA! Our clubs are definitely challenged to take things to a "higher level" and are 100% NOT allowed to be just "show clubs". About Us

Who are we? Why now?

The Youth Leaders in Production Agriculture Organization is a faith based youth organization that operates as a Florida 501c3. We are founded by a group of parents, youth supporters, agriculturalist and representatives from the Warner University Agriculture Studies program - who all wanted to provide the youth of today a unique opportunity. The desire was for there to be a youth program focused on production agriculture practices, sustainability and innovation; all the while making sure that leadership development and service to others are also kept at the forefront. In the ever changing times of today, the traditional educational model looks very different for many families across the state of Florida. With the increase of Home Education students, private schools and those who are opting into virtual education, coupled with the increase of urbanization...we knew the time was RIGHT and NEEDED to help those youth who have a drive and determination in the production agriculture field.

Youth Eligibility

The YLPA Organization is open to any youth, ages 8 - 19 (that are still in High School). We also have a Seed Starters program for our younger group, ages 5 - 7, because we know those younger siblings want to be a part of things too! To join, you will just need to be connected with the closest club to you. Contact us for more information and let's get you enrolled!

How can you help?

We are looking for DYNAMIC and ENERGETIC volunteers and leaders! Our goal is to have a YLPA Club in each county in the state of Florida. Thanks to our wonderful partnership with Warner University, there is no need to worry about "knowing all the things". Our leadership development programs and content rich curriculum, will prepare you to lead and volunteer....impacting our youth in mighty ways! WE NEED YOU!

Where is Warner University

Warner University is located in Lake Wales, Florida. This beautiful area of Polk County is the perfect spot to house the University, which is an incredible 300 plus area campus. Warner is home to a new state of the art facility, which is home to the Agriculture Studies Program for undergraduates.
